Be Well Girl is a safe space for girls and young women to learn how to feel emotionally well. A place to understand their anxious thoughts, learn mental health strategies to add to their tool kit, heal and find a community to connect with while on their journey. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space that allows clients to feel grounded during each session while showing up as their authentic selves. The goal is to live a life with more ease and peace of mind by gaining the tools to succeed mentally.

In this course you will learn:
Over 6 weeks, we will explore anxiety, its symptoms and cognitive tools to cope. It will be a journey to understanding your mental health on a deeper level. Each week we will cover different topics and learn strategies to create more emotional freedom and break unhealthy cycles. This group will be a safe space to nurture your mental health.
At the age of 19, I found myself sitting in a therapist's office, hoping for help and relief. This was the very moment I started my wellness journey and began understanding the importance of caring deeply for my mental health. At this moment, I changed my major and began pursuing a psychology career. During my graduate studies, I started working with teen girls and young women, teaching them more about their mental health and wellness. My love for educating others how to nurture their mental health has continued to grow over the years.
Upon graduating with my master's degree in mental health counseling, I began researching psychology and neuroscience at top universities such as UNC Chapel Hill, Florida International University, and Emory University. Currently, I am the owner of Be Well Girl, and I work as a Research Scientist studying novel treatments for anxiety and depression. I translate the most current research to develop effective strategies for clients during sessions. It has been nearly ten years since I held my first group session, and it still has a special place in my heart.
Be Well Girl was born at a pivotal place in my life, and now I can take my knowledge and teach teens strategies on how to nurture their mental health and begin their wellness journey. I create courses and workshops that help teen girls cultivate a life that allows them to prioritize their mental health and wellness.
This course was amazing! We really went in depth about what anxiety is and the purpose of it! And we went over some very helpful strategies to overcome it, which are really helpful! I found this class really helpful to me. I now feel more confident in learning to manage my anxiety.
